I have the solution! Drag your sims game into the trash can then open it from there and it should work!:heart:

Guys, that error means that it's an error in the software, in the coding. Unless EA fixes it, there is no fix. I know, it's happening to me, too.

Okay so, my sister downloaded the Sims 3 onto her macbook pro without Showtime and it works fine. If you want to make it run at least a bit smoother unintstall Showtime. I hope this helps you! :catlol: Don't judge the cat.
