So I downloaded my game for Mac through a disk (not digital download) whenever I play for like 30 mins it goes off suddenly , I don't really know what's wrong
I have a MacBook Air 2014
4GB ram
Intel HD graphics 5000 1536 MB
Processor 1.4 GHz Intel core i5
I have the sims 4 and it works fine
And have no problem in graphics or anything
Although it needs at least 4gb
And the sims 3 needs only 2gb and it crashes a lot HELP please!!

Because The Sims 3 is not natively written for OS X, it is the Windows version 'wrapped' using Cider so the game thinks it is running in Windows. It requires a lot of power from your Mac. MacBook Airs are very low spec. machines so the more demand you place on it, the more it's going to struggle.
I suspect that the main issue you're having is RAM related. You need to purge RAM regularly whilst playing.

You could try the digital version but it is the same game so the same resources are used. You can register your product codes in Origin and download the digital version at no extra cost.
