I put my laptop in to get fixed at PC world and before I put it in it was not allowing me to get the disc out which turned out to be my sims 3 pets disc. A month later I went to uninstall my games as I have just bought an imac so I was going to switch them to that. I wanted to go on the game and put all my houses to the exchange so I could download them later so I don't lose them but that's when I realised the disc was gone. I searched everywhere in my room before phoning PC world to say they must have it and was told they had no idea. I therefore can't get on to the game. I came on here to see that all forums say download it off origin but it turns out I hadn't registered it online so I can't do that either. What do I do? Do I have to just uninstall it and buy another one?
Thanks for any replies I get!

If the game is still on your PC, you can find the registration code for it yourself: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Lost-and-broken-DVDs-and-missing-serial-codes-What-to-do/td-...
Once you get it, register it!
