[Info Request] Script Errors on the Launcher

My computer is brand new. Purchased yesterday and it is a high spec gaming computer yet mine just came up with the script error. I clicked no and my launcher stayed where it was rather than disappearing. I'm almost all the way through installing all my disks then onto the online parts but its all still installing fine now

Make sure to restart your launcher, maybe even your computer and Origin.

No adblockers.

I have had and still have that problem. If EA says it has been fix, that is not true.

This error started a few days ago for me, game randomly cut off while I was playing and I haven't been able to get back on since. Contacting EA has done nothing, I was talking to them for over 2 hours yesterday, nothing helped. http://lvlt.thesims3.com/js/jquery-1.3.2_ver929080.js is the URL coming up for me, all the others say 0.

September 19, 2014. It's happening to me. when the launcher opens a script or java script error occurs without explanation and there is so far no cure.

I downloaded TheSims3 and TheSims3 Ambitions. The launcher gives me the java script error and asks if I want to continue running scripts or not. How do I know? I'm not a computer programmer. Give me abreak. The date of my comment is Friday, September 19, 2014 6:28 PM CDT.

I've been receiving the same script error message. It will allow me to play for about 10 minutes and then freezes up and shuts down. Would love some help!

java, Adobe Air, Adobe Flash, net framework 4, micosoft silverlight visual C++ 2005 2013 .....

I have Windows 8.1

and I live in United Arab Emirates.

when i try to update java it tells me that it is the last version for this platform

Hi! Like 69 other people, I'm having this same problem. I never had this issue until I downloaded The Sims 3: Dragon Valley. I was able to play the game for about 3 minutes before it shut off. Hadn't touched it till a few days ago and I got the script error with the sponserplay URL that was listed in the first page of this forum in January. I have the 1.67.2.024001 update for The sims 3 launcher and everything is up to date. I have a Windows 8.1 64 bit ASUS laptop.
