I cannot register!!

I already have an orgins account so when I got onto thesims.com It asked for my password for that... which I entered.  I got to the page where I was able to enter a persona-- available! and filled in the remaining information (Gender and accepting terms and etc) I press the Sign Up! button and it takes me right back to the same exact page and doesnt sign me up or in. PLEASE HELP!!! I want to get into the exchange!!
