Hi,
I've had the Sims 3 Pets installed on my laptop for a number of months and I can't find the disk to play the game! I've looked every-where! Is there any way I can still play?

If you redeemed it and have it in Origin, you'll need to uninstall the disc version and install the Download Version from Origin. Then you won't need the disc anymore.

You can redeem your serial code with Origin and get the download version: https://help.ea.com/article/redeem-your-serial-code-in-origin

Hi,
I've already asked for help about this issue but it didn't work. I already have Sims 3 Pets installed on my laptop and I have already redeemed the serial code, however I've lost the disk to play the game and I don't know what to do!?

It's better not to start a new thread. Even though it shows as solved, you can still right in it (you can even revoke the solve). For the helpers it's easier to have the full info, what you've already tried and what not.

Hi,
Sorry for starting a new thread, I didn't know how to un-mark this one as solved. Basically, I can't put the serial code in the link that you gave me because I have already redeemed the serial code. It's just when I go onto the Sims 3 Launcher and click play, it doesn't work because I don't have the disk.

So when you go to that activate page you get an error that it's already redeemed ? Did you ever redeem it at Origin before ? I'm not really a specialist on Origin since I don't use it myself but you should be able to add the game to your Origin library this way and then start the game from there.
I do believe you need to uninstall the disc version first but I would not do that until the game is added to your Origin library. All I know about how to do that is in that link I gave you.
Maybe someone else knows more about redeeming serial codes on Origin. You might also need to contact Customer Support.

Yeah, I've already redeemed it on Origin. I just can't play it because I don't have the disk! Thank you for your help, I'm going to try and contact customer support but their online chat thing is never open! So I guess I'll just email them :-)
