I can't download Roaring Heights

Today I bought Roaring Heights Gold Edition on Origin, and then downloaded it from Sims 3 website. I've tried to install it in my game, but it says my game is not up to date. I've read through some threads here and have downloaded a patch, but it says my game is already up to date when I try and install the patch. I'm getting really frustrated by this, especially as i spent £30 on the game!

Could you tell me if you installed your The Sims 3 game through Origin or using a disc? Also, which version number can you see in the bottom left corner of the launcher?
