How to update your email address [ Edited ]

I am trying to figure out how to change an invalid email address which had been used by my daughter to register with SIMS3. She registered Sims 3 on the website but it would not recognise it on the Origin log in. She requested a new password. Unfortunately at the time she had not realised that this email account had been closed down.  How can she change her email address if she cannot access her old email account?
