How to redownload games

A few years back I purchased expansion packs when Sims 3 came out. This was before Origin was required. Since I lost my base game disc I bought it off Origin a few days ago. When I tried to download some old expansion and stuff packs by entering the code, I was told I couldn't download it due to it being used previously. How do I download them? Do I have to buy them again?

@TheAmityTribute It is possible the packs got redeemed to another Origin account. As this is an open public forum for users by users accounts can not be accessed in these forums. This issue needs to be handled by EA customer service as they can research your account and correct the issue.
