Help!?!

I am going crazy! My sims 3 won't install on my ps3 and it's ticking me off, the file progress and total progress get stuck on 100% then it freezes! I cleared the cookies and the cashe data from the internet browser and it did nothing to help. My other games play just fine, but I've also noticed I'm not the only one having this problem, if you can fix it PLEASE help me, I love the sims!
