Ok, so I've been trying to get my Sims 3 Launcher to work for the past day or so. Up until now, it's worked perfectly for me, but suddenly when I opened the launcher today, it said that my files were corrupt and immediately closed out. I repaired the files on the base game and all the expansions, but now the Launcher won't open at all. Every time I try to open it, I get an error message saying it isn't working and Windows has to find a solution (I have Windows 7 operating system, btw). I tried to both bypass the Launcher and reset my game to factory conditions as shown here, but when I tried to do the back up, the Launcher still would not open, and when I tried to bypass it, it said that my Sims 3 was out of date (probably due to the repairs I did) and that I would need to open the launcher to update it so that it would work with my EPs. I don't know how to fix the launcher so that I can actually open it, and I'm at my wits end.
