Help! Direct Download asks for disk

I have a Mac and I recently just purchased the SIm3 Island Paradise. When I did so I was no longer able to install my SIms 3 game because every time I would press play from the launcher it would crash. So I uninstalled origin and the Sims 3 and installed them all again. Now when I try to play it says I need to insert a disk. I don't have one because it was a direct download to origin so I don't know what I should do!

That happens when there is a corrupted file. You'll need to download the game again.

Also, make sure to update your game to the newest patch but read this on what to do before patching.
