HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

When I load up the Sims 3 I get this on the game launcher.

Is there anything I can do?

Cleared all browsing history and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hello @BlackFox73P,

Sorry to hear that you have run into this issue with Sims.

Could you please try the following: 

1. Open Internet Explorer - do this even if you normally do not use IE11
2. Go to Tools - Internet options - Advanced
3. Select 'Reset' and check the box 'Delete personal Settings'
4. Restart IE

After this try logging in again.

Let us know how you get on.

Hey there! Im on Windows and it seems like I dont have IE11. All I have is Microsoft Edge. I am having the same problem as listed above. Please help I want to play!

Hi @madisonnfarr,

You should also have IE 11 in Windows 10, even if a bit hidden as it's not the default browser. Let's try to find it  Type Internet Explorer in the taskbar search, and you should see it appear in the search results.

This works like wonder. I have just experienced this problem and got panic because I could not play my Origin Access games. The problem is solved now. Thank you.
