Floating Head During Costume Party

I have to ask, why is my Sim's costume during a costume party invisible? Just one Sim, his head floats, no body. Only the costume is affected, the other clothes work just fine. The rest at the party are all in costume. Even the kids. No mods but a lot of store content. What might cause this?
