Exception Raised (mac sims 3 generations pack)

I just purchased my new Generations sims 3 off from amazon, and when i installed it, i copied the product code but it wont work, it always says:

Unhandled exception 0x80000004 at address 0x00000000.
Do you wish to debug it ?

I really need help and i'm really disappointed so far, i've been trying for hours to fix it. I even unistalled/reinstalled it. 

I would really appreciate if someone can help me.

I'm not a MAC helper, so I'm not too sure what to suggest
