Error installing Sims 3 Showtime

Hi guys. 

I've had Sims 3 installed for quite a while, I've never had a problem with it.. My laptop went boom on me and i had to reinstall everything.. During my setup of Sims 3 Showtime an error pops up saying "File: E:\GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild_p12.package Error: data error (cyclic redundancy check)."

The only options i have is either "Retry" or "Cancel"

Does anyone have a possible solution?
