Error: critical system failure. Mac

I keep getting the above error message when trying to download CC content.  I have Sims3 on a Mac (Mavericks).  Sny help would be much appreciated.

Hi

When you say that you are downloading CC, do you mean from the Store on thesims3.com or do you mean CC made by a third party? If it is not official EA content then you had better ask the creator of the content.
