DragonValley Installation Failed needs latest update

I have installed the super patch from here http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Current-Patch-1-67-Manual-links-and-more/td-p/67858 and I am still receiving the error.  I want to play with some dragons!

Well, I would have suggested that, but seeing as it doesn't work...

 

This is entirely installation? Are you doing this from a disc or download?

I used the disc. It is now an item in my downloads tab of the game launcher.

did you install from there ?  and if so does the world now show up in the main menu +ne wgame to select the world to play in

I tried to install from there, but I keep getting the installation error. It is not avaialable in the game as a world.

I am having this exact same issue with a different expansion pack! I spent literally 10 hours yesterday trying to solve the problem and still nothing. Hope you get something sorted!

hover your mouse over the base game icon to see the version number that'll let us know if you are upto date or not and see what we can do for you

did you try to download from your the sims 3 account my store account-purchase history instead ? and or do you get  an error message see the log for details ?
