Downloads not working

Okay I bought some things on the sims 3 store with simpoints,But when i try to download them it doesn't work for some reason,Some download but some don't!

Also i tried to download riverview but it says i need to update my game,Though mine has all the updates as far as i know.

 

 

EVERYONE asks these questions on the forums.PLEASE REPLY.

What is your base game version right now ?

To find out, open your launcher and hover over the little base game icon in the lower left part of the launcher. It should say 1.39.

So you can't even download or is it the installing that's the issue ?

 

Have you tried clearing your browser caches (including the ones from IE) or try a different browser to download ? 

 

Is your Flash Player, Java & Windows is all up-to-date ?

Yes they are all up to date.I've just tried doing all that and different browsers and stuff.

 

With riverview the installing is the problem.But with the clothes,hair etc it's the downloading it always says 'There was an error while downloading content,please see log for more details'

What does the log say ?

 

The log can be found in documents/electronicarts/thesims3 and is called Sims3LauncherLogFile.log

It seems to me that the launcher thinks your game isn't updated: 1.0.631.000002 is the version of the unpatched game.

 

Try re-appling the manual patch linked here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Current-Patch-1-39-Manual-links-and-more/td-p/

 

The one that says super patch.
