Downloaded world; not showing up anywhere

Hello! So after much begging from my 9-year-old, I went ahead and purchased Dragon Valley online even though I was a little hesitant about not having the disc. My fears were realized after this thing did not show up anywhere. It told me the payment went through, and that I would be receiving an e-mail receipt. It's now almost 24 hours later and I have not received it. (Checked Spam folder too.) It's not in the downloads area of the Launcher, nor is it showing up in my purchase history on the website. I thought, hm, maybe I just thought I bought it but it didn't go through. But I checked my bank account and the transaction went through right away.... just not a trace of the purchase itself. Feeling frustrated and cheated. Can anyone help with this issue? Thanks so much in advance!

you should have been sent a code via email to redeem in the sims 3 account that the world is going to be added to , downloaded and installed, once you have the code issue sorted do not redeem the code in the orign account as this can and may the code invalid

 

edit to add the world will be downloaded from the sims 3 account-mystore  account-purchase history

 

 

Follow these steps to redeem your code

 

  1. Go to thesims3.com and log in with your account
  2. Go to your account page: https://store.thesims3.com/myAccount.html (site will ask for your password again)
  3. Click on Redeem a Code
  4. Enter the 16-letter code, accept the Policies and click on Redeem
  5. Go to your purchase history to download the world (make sure your game is updated to the newest version)

OR

 

  1. Go to thesims3.com and log in with your account
  2. Go to the general redeem a code page: http://www.thesims3.com/incentive/generalredeem.html
  3. Enter the 16-letter code (this is not for 20-letter codes) and click on Submit
  4. Go to your purchase history to download the world (make sure your game is updated to the newest version)
