Crashing sims and Loading time!! PLEASE HELP

I have been experiancing problems for a longs time with the sims 3 game. My game takes up to 5 hours to load my town and then when I go on certain families, it freezes and crashes. I have lots of the sims games downloaded to my game (ie: all the expasion packs) but other people do too therefore I do not see this as the problem. My computer is also fairly new and high-tech so I don't understand why its taking 5 hours to load!!!!!!!!!

1 bad cc is enough to ruin your game. Take out all cc and see if it then runs better.
You can then go loading back your cc in groups to see if it's a particular downlaod that is messing up your game or if it's just the amount of cc you have.
(cc = custom content)
