Can't sign in to activate on my computer

I recently purchase Sim Societies, downloaded origins, downloaded the game, and installed the game. However, when I go to open the game for the first time I am promped to sign into EA to activate the game on my computer. I entered in my user name and password (which I am 100% sure is correct) and it doesn't do anything. I keep waiting for the game to open but it never does.

emmm is that a Simcity one ?  sounds like it is...i have no idea about simcity  perhaphs try the Simcity forums
