Can't register game!!

i registered my sims code with origin when i downloaded the game i went to the sims website to download a sim to my game and it told me that i had to have my game registered in order to download the sim. so i went to the page where you register your game, i typed in my sims code and it told me it was invalid. I then clicked the "what does this mean?" button underneath and it told me that if i had already registered my game with origin then i shouldnt have to register it on the website. so i went back to try and dowload the sims again and it still told me that i had to register my game i dont know what to do help me!!!!...............ps. this is about the fifth problem ive had with the sims website it is not very user friendly and origin and sims do not work very well together i am extremely fustrated!!!

Log out and back in and try if you can then download.
