Can't install the Dragon Valley World on the Sims 3??? HELP

I have the same problem.... and I don't know what to do, because I can't find playes here in Brasil to help me 
Did you try redeeming the code as suggested in this thread instead of installing it from DVD ?

I had the same issues with both dragon valley and monte vista. for me going through the redeem a code and then downloading, and installing, the content worked for me. So thank you 
ps. I think they should put a notice on the box if they're just going to make you download the content anyway. I prefer to buy the CDs then to download the content, and I wouldn't have wasted my time going to the store if I knew my CD would be a hunk of useless plastic. .. just saying,
The file should be on the DVD. I don't know how it works exactly though and for some it just doesn't install if you go through the DVD.
