Can't connect to EA download manager

When I open the launcher I get a message that I can't connect to EA download manager. Therefore I cannot update the game and cannot play it. I just bought the game. Haven't been able to play it at all because it's not up to date but I can't update it. Please help!

I doubt it will allow it through the launcher than either.

 

Only thing you can do is add the site to your exceptions.
