Can't Register The Sims 3

I digitally downloaded The Sims 3 through Origin, and tried to register the game with the product code it has under info in Origin, and it says that games through Origin should be automatically registered to account... yet it doesn't show up as registered and wont let me register... Help?

Then contact a game advisor. They can take a look at your account

Did you make an account on thesims3.com with the same email address you've used for Origin ?

It does show up in myGames on Origin, right ?

Yeah, it's the same email, and the game is in my Origin library. I've been playing it nonstop for the past couple of weeks,
