At the Game Launcher game won't sign in and let me download new world. The site is also down only for my Safari browser

I have not been able to go through Safari to get on the The Sims 3 website. I went through Chrome to purchase Monte Vista, but now I can't download it because when I launch the game, it won't sign in. 

I have a Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion 10.8

Have you already tried to log in the launcher but in the menu where you choose your save game? Use the login button at the bottom here:

Usually this works. If you start the launcher a second time you should be logged in.
