Anniversary sale?

Yesterday I had problems installing Sims 3, but was finally able to (fixed it myself), along with my expansion packs, etc...on my new MAC. So I finally got to play to make sure it all works without crashing, so that I could purchase some of the cool stuff that was available 50% off. And now I went to look and none of it is 50% off anymore! What happened? The email I got didn't give an end date to the sale. Now I can't purchase the items
