Activation code for the sims 3 pet lost

So I installed the Sims 3 and the Sims 3 pets on my old laptop now that I have a new one I was able to install everything but the Sims 3 Pets because I no longer have the activation code because I do not have the packaging anymore, I think it got lost when I moved last year. I really dont want to have to buy a new one when I have a perfectly working one here, just no code for it. Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks
