I recently bought The Sims 2 via Amazon, and am now trying to access the update features and gain access to the custom content browser, however I am unable to do so. When I attempted to put the product code onto my origin account it says it's an invaild code. What do I do?

In this case, please get in contact with an EA Game Advisor. They should be able to register the game for you.

You need to log into the help page with your Origin account and then click on http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/ - choose your game, platform, and topic to see the contact options. Please choose phone or chat as contact option.

The Sims 2 base game cannot be registered on Origin.  You can contact game advisor for further assistance.. Please note that online features for The Sims 2 games are no longer available and Custom Content browser is no longer usable.
