Sims 2 Registration Code Problems (Sims 2 Double Deluxe)

My Sims 2 games won't work, it says I have to get a registration code and I type it in but it says it's invalid (By the way I downloaded my games digitally from Origin). I went on EA's Forums and I saw a familiar question that reflected off mine and the answer back was a code for Sims 2 Double Deluxe, which I was having the code problem with and I typed it in but it still says it's invalid and it's getting really frustrating. I am really confused. Please help me Origin/EA...I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hey, that post from ursula is an old one. There is a registration issue right now that we are looking into.
