Installing Sims 2

Hello! I have heard that there are problems with installing sims 2 on newer versions of Windows through disc. Do those problems still appear if I install through origin as my PC has no disk slot? Thank you! Sims 2 are my favourite out of the series.

The Sims 2 is one of my favorite Sims generations also!

By installing the game through Origin you can avoid any issues with the discs in the newer versions of Windows. If you have the game in Origin, I would suggest to at least try
