I'm trying to reinstall The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, but it quits installing after a couple seconds. What can I do to get it to work? I already tried Repairing and uninstalling/reinstalling Origin and those didn't work.

Well, I'm not really sure if what I will tell you can fix this, but.. Let's try, maybe it get fixed :D
Erase all content from The Sims 2 that can remaiin. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games and make sure there's no The Sims 2 folder.
Then, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games (if it exists) and again, make sure there's no The Sims 2 folder.
And it'd be also good to check if there is a The Sims 2 entry in the control panel.
By now, those are the only solutions I can wonder... I hope any of them works If not, maybe we can think of more.

@HillyPlays In addition to Danni's advice, you might want to try running ccleaner too: http://help.ea.com/sg/article/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/
Once you do this try a fresh reinstall.
Thanks.
