simpsons has reverted to beginning

My origin profile name has changed some how.  I reset my password so the email address and new pass are good...now my level 39 or 40 springfield is reverted back to the opening sequence of game start at level 1

help...I have countless hours wasted into getting to this point.

If this is not the Origin name associated with your level 39 Springfield, you will need to contact a game advisor for help with this. Changing your password should not affect your account. Follow the link: https://help.ea.com @sunburntpa943 .

Then do the following:

Click on: Help with a Game
Then in the bar that says Search all Products, Type: Tapped Out
Click on the Tapped Out icon
Select a topic
Scroll down to "contact us" then select a platform
An option to contact ea will come up
