completing Kirk's arguing task on TSTO

I have recently read that several players on the forum have been unable to complete this quest line, which possibly suggests there is a bug.

How to you unlock tat in the picture below and I already have his house

Unfortunately several players have reported problems on the EA forum with the Acorn Kirk quest line (parts 2 and 4) and haven't found any way to continue the quests so far. I have added it to a BUGS AND ISSUES thread in the hope that EA will provide a solution for players stuck with this quest.

Players have also tried storing Kirk and the Van Houten house and even reinstalling the game but the quest is still stuck.

When I go into the quest to complete it it sends me to Luan's job menu but it shows the task as locked requiring the Van Houton hous which I have so I don't know what to do
