cant log in to origin

I got booted from the simpsons game when it updated.  I tried logging back in but couldn't.  What i thought was the correct email for my account. it made me start all over.  not sure how to log in without a email and just a screen name.

Do you get an error message? If yes, what error message do you get?

Error. The origin network could not be reached. Please check your network connection and try again. (my connection is fine)  this is after getting the Bart Simpson scream over and over. Then, one saying we are aware of problems and are working to fix them. I am still getting push notifications from my game but cannot log into origin to access it.
