The Simpsons Tapped Out Crashing since update!!!

Game has been crashing since 12-4 at 9pm CST. Cannot log into account.

How long you have had the issue? --- just noticed it about a half hour ago.

Hope this gets resolved soon.  I love this game, would hate to lose everything.

Count me in!!! I can't play since christmas update, after logging in my game freezes/hangs been left behind and misses manu stuffs

For me it's crashing often. I think it's because of my phone. Samsung s5. On my tablet it doesn't crash. It crashed before the update as well.. had that problem since may when I bought my phone...

Mine has just crashed on IPad and iPhone using wifi or 3G hellllllllllllp!

I've been having this issue, it won't let me into my town at all.  I can log in as me, but not access springfield.

This happened to me too! I did everything, including uninstalling and reinstalling and it still crashes.
Ipad2. iOS 6.1.3
3G wifi

Played fine all day Friday and this morning it starts to,load then crashes.
I was so excited to get the Christmas update since I started after Christmas last year! I hope it gets fixed and I can catch up!

I can log in but my entire Springfield is gone!
It keeps playing the beginning cut scene and then starting me with nothing.

Been stuck at "can't connect to server" page for about a week now. Sometimes will log in, then returns to "can't connect to server" page. Uninstalled and reinstalled 2 or 3 times but still does same thing. Since I never received help from customer support for earlier (unrelated) problems, I have No hope now in taking part in the Christmas event. Not happy with EA. 

 I have contacted customer support with this issue.

Played on Kindle Fire for almost 2 years.
