Puritan flanders self punish task unavailable!

The task is locked even though I have the quest prompt on the left of the screen. Task says "self punish (*null) "

It's locked in my main town and feeder towns as well. There was a small update a few hours ago so I'm guessing the quest is locked as a result of that.
