Please help, robot parts!

Hey guys I can't figure out where to use my robot parts to make items. I tap on the Scifighter mini game and it says that I have enough robot parts to make an item. But I can't find where to make the items at? Even when I tap on the 3D printer it does not give me the option to make anything. What do I do? Please help.

The event is over so you don't have robot parts or anything to craft anymore. That was a timed event.

But when I tap on the scifighter building that is what it said. I didn't get to finish the event. I don't know if that changes anything but my game still says that I can. And did update the game and am already passed the third building for the new update. I am just really confused more now. Because that is what I thought too, was that it was a timed event but my game says differently. Any ideas?
