New Mini Event - Disappears - Reappears - Disappears [ Edited ]

I have the latest update for Tapped Out and the new mini event loaded.  I started the first quest.  The next time I went back in the game the event had been, for lack of betters words, erased.  Then I hard restarted the game and everything seemed fine.  So I started the quest and I have placed the first building.  However when I go back in the game, it has all disappeared.  The building, the quests, and the characters were reset back to no tasks.  I tried hard restarting the game again, but its still all gone.

Have you tried going to Krustyland and back to re synch?  Also you may want to uninstall and reinstall your game. I heard of someone else who go the update then it reverted back to the sci fi event. Good luck.

I'm afraid Krustyland did not work and I'm too nervous about reloading the game.  Thanks for the advice though.

In the meantime, I have found that if you hard reset the game.  Then turn the IPAD off and go back in, it seems to restore the mini event.

I'm also having the same issue. But even now the hard start isn't working

for all the people having this issue are you playing on devices with newer operating systems? EA cut support for some older operating systems about a month or so ago. Just curios. I've found no fix for this and it's not happening in my game but I'm running on an an iPhone 6s with iOS 10.

I think mine is a newer system, my tab is only a few months old

Not sure, I just noticed someone else had the same problem

By Platform I mean are all the people having this issue using a the type of device, for example my platform is an iphone which runs iOS.

There are reports of this happening to users on reddit as well, no solution found there either.

ETA: I'm on android and don't have this issue. Possibly a corrupt or incomplete install for some users?
