Missing Burns, cant replace cooling towers

I sold my cooling towers, not realizing I was also going to lose Mr Burns in the process. Now, I am unable to purchase the control bldg and complete the "It's Pronounced... Pt. 3" quest. Is there a way to fix this? I can't  seem to find them (towers) to buy them and as far as I can tell there is no way to reset my game. Please help, thank you

They will not be under buildings in the build menu but under characters as mr Burns comes with them.
Have you checked that section of the store?

You really need to look all in the store for the cooling towers. If you can not find them, are you sure you sold them and did not just store them? Have you checked your storage box? 

Now if you can not find them still, I would contact EA help center to see if they could assist you further.

Go to http://help.ea.com/
Log in with your Origin ID
Click on help with a game
Click on the Simpson's Tapped Out logo
Scroll to the bottom of the page, click on contact us
Select your appropriate platform
Click next on bottom right
Select a topic
Tell us a little more: Simpson's Tapped Out
Click next

You will then have the option for Answer HQ, Live Chat or Email or a Call Me Option!

If you see live chat and want to wait, click it.

If you want to send an email, click that one.

If you want a call back, choose that one and enter a phone number for them to call you back!

NOT EVERY OPTION IS AVAILABLE! DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION AND TIME DAY, WILL DEPEND ON YOUR OPTIONS!!

Thank you for the help! I was very close to just creating a new origin account and starting over.. did not even think to look in the characters section of the store.
