Lost Levels on Simpsons Tapped Out

Hi Guys,
My simpsons game has been working fine for months, today when i loaded the app it restarted the game. So i logged into my account & its loaded to level 11 although this morning i was on level 18. When trying to load the game it states that i hve unsaved progress on another device, however i have never played the game on another device, only my phone. I dont know what to do or how to get my progress back, please can someone help?!

Loss of level progress is a known issue.

Basic troubleshoot:

-re-sync game by going to Krustyland/going to neighbor screen

-hard close app and reopen

If this does not work, delete the app and reinstall, then log in again

Another solution may be to try playing the game on another device to see if it loads the correct progress
