LIMIT on special event rewards when visiting friends!

Ok everyone I want you to do me a favor. Please go and visit 31 friends and tell me if you receive special event rewards of the papyri and the specimens on the 31st friend visit. This issue has been happening in the last few special events for me. I can visit and get the special event rewards from 30 of my 101 friends. So for just the papyri (on current time travel event) you receive 19 for each friend action and you get three friend actions so that is 57 papyri per friend you visit. So for every 24 hour period I am only able to collect 57 papyri x 30 friends = 1,710 papyri total. So it is my belief that a limit is being set on how many special event rewards we are allowed to collect in 24 hours! I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this?? If your not sure please test it out and let me know I really would appreciate the help! Thanks everyone for your help.

it's is not a bug. It's been like this for three or more years. In the first year or so you could get credit from each neighbor. Then ea changed the mechanics of how freind visits work during events. I've been playing since 2012 and am a moderator on the official tapped out forum.

It has been this way in recent events too, you will only get event items from the first 30 friends you visit (or 90 taps).

Yes, I am experiencing the same issue. Only for 30 friends neighborhoods am I receiving artifact credits. I noticed it a couple weeks ago. I have about 3 cases with customer service concerning it. I just got off the phone with the latest. The 3rd time I was in contact with someone, I was told it was a bug. I was told to report the bug on the Official Forum because customer service cannot fix it, but, the persons who monitor the Official Forum may be able to do a patch or other repair. If a number of people are having the same issue, they are more apt to do a fix. So,, please report the bug. We're missing out on a lot of artifact credits, and donuts. I bought the gravedigger so I could try and off-set some of this loss; gravedigger=100 donuts for producing 2 shovels every 4 hours.

I don't believe that getting event rewards only from the first 30 friends is a bug, EA has designed it this way so that players do not finish events too quickly. It has been the same for recent events, Occasionally they vary how many friends you can collect event currency from.

There didn't use to be a limit. That was the whole point in me taking the time to add 101 friends. It started with the casino event for the casino chips. There was a limit of 90 taps on that one but they told us that there was as part of the event. There hasn't been anything stated about a limit on events since then. It is just stuck that way and has been since casino event I have been tracking it and it hasn't varied in months.

I got chips from the first 30 friends visits, although I only got 2 from the 30th friend, so I believe it is from the first 89 taps that you get chips. This happened on both of my towns.

The main benefits from having a lot of friends is to gain all the friends prizes quickly and gain $. Once you have all the friends prizes the amount of $ you receive per tap increases and there is also a small chance of getting a donut too.

The point of having 30+ neighbours is to get the FP prizes and once you have the last prize youre able to get random donuts from friend actions.

Having many friends should not give a huge advantage in events, hence the limit.

Events are for everyone, lower lvl plyers might not have that many neighbours, those who choose to play Anonymously have none.

Like muhsterino said: it has been like this for YEARS, it is not new, it is not a bug.

I guess I just won't be able to get all the rewards then can't play all the time so I rely on being able to get reward from all friends. I never noticed it before but have only been playing for a little over a year I think. That sucks but oh well. Thanks for your polite reply.
