Halloween Update

It is now live in the app stores! Go check it out! Updated mine and its running already! Remember to check your confirm donut spend after you update it! And look out for the build menu changes!!! Something to get use to, but I love it!!!

You do need to complete the building and task that pops up before you get access to the whole Halloween event, so don't worry if you don't see the creepy/scarey stuff in the new menu yet.

The first task is a build and a task for Kang 8h
Lisa then gets an 8h task
Lisa and Kang has a joint 45sec task
After that the Halloween menu and all the stuff is available.

Please Note about Neighbour Actions:
You need to be past the 45sec joint task Lisa/Kang and the crafting of the nail on the board and so does your neighbours before any actions are available and then you tap the small aliens/characters with aliens over their faces.
In the minitowns, if the probecount is 0 you will not be able to do actions.
There is a 90 probe a day limit from actions at neighbours, so if you don't get probes tap the "i" by the count on the minitownmap (not on any other screen) and see how many probes you have left to get from friends.

More items will be released on later dates and as you progress in the questline.

I also wanted to mention, because it was confusing for me that at one point in the quest line, it mentions making the kids go trick or treating. You will actually get a prompt to do that and until you do, you can't send them all on the quest. Also, you will see small aliens roaming around your town. You can't do anything to them until given the prompt. (I have already did this by rushing a few things with donuts.) Also, new this year you will find that all the kids, including squeeky voice teen, can go trick or treating. This helps you earn treat bags.

Can you no longer finish Clash of Clones quests with this update?

About the CoC. I guess it is possible if you do not get the new update from the store.

I updated my app this morning and haven't been able to play as my app keeps crashing as it's loading! I have tried logging out and back in and uninstalling and reinstalling and it still doesn't work. Help?!

@thatssoalex247 you could try contacting EA to see if they could look into your game. 

Go to http://help.ea.com/
Log in with your Origin ID
Click on help with a game
Click on the Simpson's Tapped Out logo
Scroll to the bottom of the page, click on contact us
Select your appropriate platform
Click next on bottom right
Select a topic
Tell us a little more: Simpson's Tapped Out
Click next

You will then have the option for Answer HQ, Live Chat or Email or a Call Me Option!

If you see live chat and want to wait, click it.

If you want to send an email, click that one.

If you want a call back, choose that one and enter a phone number for them to call you back!

NOT EVERY OPTION IS AVAILABLE! DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION AND TIME DAY, WILL DEPEND ON YOUR OPTIONS!!

I did the first two 8 hr quests but it's not giving me an option to do anything else and I can't do anything in my neighbors towns.
