Gold Quest after all prizes won

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the gold quest - where you need 8000 gold, gives any prizes other than 1000 elixir?  I am up to the second one (after receiving the first 1k elixir)

They used to give donuts for this type of thing......not sure its worth spending the time (which takes a few days) just to get 1000 elixir

So far it only gives elixir. This might change.
Considering you need over 206,000 elixir to get all castles to lvl 20 getting the purple stuff isnt that bad.
When/if I reach 38,000 gold I will be more neighbourly and stop defending my regular buildings and raid my neighbourhood to help my friends. Right now Im utterly selfish and defend all and only raid randoms
