Froze on thanksgiving quests

I play this game multiple times a day and my 2nd quest in the thanksgiving special says done and gave me the building but won't move on from there. Very frustrating. I have logged off and on I have tried other electronics. Nothing is working

I did a hard restart and a full uninstall / reinstall as well and no help

I'm having/had the same issue for a while. It(the game) crashes on splash screen. I've contacted EA several times with a hand up the a run around.  I get the same bs trouble shooting suggestions over and over. I'm sick of EA's * C.S.

Found homer on a Radom task and as soon as he was free it moved on 😖
