Friends don't show up in Simpsons: tapped out [ Edited ]

I deleted a few friends that weren't active through origin and now I can't see any friends or their towns. Please help.

Shut down the app completely, restart your device and open the app. If you can not see your friends still, and you are not playing anonymously, you might want to uninstall and reinstall the app. 

When you removed your friends, you might have removed all of them?
