Donuts on friends task

Hi, I don't have many friends on my Springfield and so I spent 5 donuts to at least make it go away, the choo choose symbol in the task book. Well it went away for 2 minutes and come back again saying 3/5 still! Those donuts were brought and I would like them back.
It is a way of scamming people out of their donuts and actual money.

The add friend task, I choo choo, is two parts

add one friend

add five friends

you completed the first part but not the second.

I dont mind having the task stuck in the book, but of you dont want it there, either spend more donuts or do as wadebear suggested and add more friends.
