Daily challenges questions

On the daily challenge it asked for 40 schematics. I tapped om about 20 men in tan and did a scan but only received 15 schematics. I saw many more then that drop. Why weren't all the schematics counted?

Intel is White. Schematics are Blue.  This seems to be a common area of confusion.
