I had the same issue. Fixed it by rebooting my phone... aka, turned it off, then back on. (Thanks to whomever suggested doing that! Seemed like a no-brainer, but I hadn't thought of doing it...)

Like Burgh I don't know much about amd video cards. Actually, I don't know much about video cards period. I checked out my graphics card however and it is also AMD.

I've tried installing Bluestacks on my desktop but I am having SO many issues with my graphics card there that I simply can't figure out a way around it all. I've updated my drivers, cleaned registry and such but Bluestacks just doesn't like my Desktop.

 

If the graphics card is the problem - why would it suddenly become an issue? I had used it 12 hrs before and it worked fine. The update? Maybe? I'm not very knowledgable about these things so pardon if it sounds like I'm talking out of my butt.... because I am :3

 

I haven't recieved any reply from EA either. I had started an IM convo with them but when my "5 minute" wait time turned into 15, I just shot the email. Like I said, no response yet.

Duck, like you I tried the BlueStacks. I will only use it if my tablet or iPod go down. It is unstable and runs slow and choppy. 

 

I don't know if the update has anything to do with the AMD or not. But what I have found out from 16 of my other friends is they also have AMD and they are having the same issues. They can log on using my tablet and no problems...so, it would leave me to think...update + AMD not a good match.

 

Hope this gets resolved soon for everyone that is experiencing this. 

 

On a final note, it can take EA a little while to get back to you, especially if they are looking into the matter before they gt back in touch with everyone that has emailed them about this issue.

some people from bluestaks forum updated their drivers for the amd grafic card and they are done, game is working... but me, i updated all my drivers and still not working....

 

i copy that EA are trying solve many problems, but logically it's problem of new update, until then all worked good :-( do i have write EA about we are thinking that the problem is probably in devices with AMD grafic cards?

I don't think I would email them again. I am sure one of the Community Managers have read this thread and they can pass this information on to the EA specialist team.

Mine has been doing this again - it's got nothing to do with rebooting the phone, or uninstalling and reinstalling, it's clearly an EA problem as this game constantly crashes or refuses to open and it's a constant complaint on these forums.  I've tried contacting EA about other issues but their service levels are appalling.  It seems when they decide they've solves something, they abandan you entirely.

 

Probably going to end up removing the game if I can't open it by the end of today.

SUCCESS!!

A few posts ago I had updated my driver and it still didn't work, so I kind of shrugged at the suggestion.
Today I took the few extra minutes to download the driver directly from AMD instead of through Windows. The latest version (other than a beta for my OS - Win7 64 Bit) is 13.251  - Windows updated me to v11.somethingsomethingsomething.

 

I installed the new one (I'm not sure if we can post external links - if not I can modify the post, but I d/led from here :  http://support.amd.com/en-us       select the "Drivers and Support" tab at the above right ) and instant success!

Hopefully this helps someone else as well!
